Sunday Lunch
Is it moral to prefer someone else's sunday lunch to your own mother/grandmothers? (No, thats not saying my mother is also my grandmother, as in I can see it acceptable to have either one as your favourite).
This Sunday I was privalaged to be invited to Emyr and Lisa's house for the second time to enjoy Lisa's Sunday Lunch. I accepted and the rest, as they say, is history. The first time i thought, "Man, lisa is good at sunday lunches!" But I never like to pass a big judgement too quickly. However, I can now say that the only better sunday lunch I've had than that first time was the second time.
Let me elaborate, Turkey (stuffed) = Gorgeous (and I dont even like turkey), potatoes (mashed and roasted) = Both great, mashed swede (my favourite) = breath taking, sprouts, carrots, mixed veg (which i dont normally eat) = above average but then again im not a fan, parsnips (which i positivley dislike) = bloody gorgeous!!! Top it all off with gravy and being offered to finish Lisa's plate off (she had hardly started) and I was a very happy bunny.
Keep 'em coming Leasqwee
