Jesus is the Son of God not a prophet of Islam

Simply a response to a banner I saw someone waving in the Telegraph today. You say, we say. Lets all get over it.

Mixed Emotions

So, 2hrs ago I'm over the moon. England have just been stuffed (and yes, despite the score line thats what I think it was) and I wass anticipating a nice, evenly contested match between Wales and the All Blacks.

Unfortunatley that's all gone pear shaped because Wales got a stuffing (although I think less than England).

The problem with England was that they didn't look like they new how to score a try. South Africa were pretty average (except Juan Smith who was brilliant, truely inspiring as a back row forward myself) but England just stood still. I can't thinl of one player who can come out with their heads held high, possibly Worsely, although compared to Smith, he just didn't turn up.

As for Wales Newzeland, well just look at the stats. In terms of numbers, pretty even. But their defence was routhless, as was their finishing. Wales big problem was kicking first half, missing touch, not putting preassure on their kicks. Apart from that we were actually pretty good, bt when you invite sooo much attacking at pace from the best in the world, you're going to pay.

Second half we looked alot more up for it. Hook i though twas outstanding, and when he took over kicking duties New Zeland actually had a few lineouts.

But at the end of the day New Zealend defence was just terrifying. No one else in the world can defend like that. Its like watching Joe Calzaghi claiming another victim.

I know I could complain that the ref was inconsitent, should have picked up on alot of stuff earlier but I don't think that would be entirely fair or it would have made a big difference.

Well done southern Hemisphere, you proved better at all levels

(Oh, and scotland played to, got stuffed like a christmas turkey by the ozzies. Pretty predictable).

Engagement Time!!!

I am pleased to announce that as of last Sat night I am now an engaged man.

The lovely young lady in question is said to be over the moon.

My question is, how come i don't get a ring or at least something to distinguish to all those ladies out there that I'm 'out of bounds'? While I'm pleased that now all those gentlemen oagling my woman will now to stand down (except those dastards who prefer the forbidden fruit) I am exceedingly jealous that I get nothing (except the girl)

Hmmm...

Something Time

So, I just read over my last blog and I was reminded of the way you can add 'time' onto the end of a statement and it immedietly makes it more fun for the person saying it AND the person hearing it (what if there is no one to hear you say it I hear you cry, well you shouldn't be talking to yourself you crazy person, get a friend or somone to pass you on the street, then repeat).

Anyway, like when i fancy a sandwhich, its 'Sandwhich Time' or if I'm after a particular type of sandwhich (one with 2 types of meat in it) it's 'SaMdwhich Time' and so on.

This practice probably isn't as much fun as the old persons techmology speak I was outlining the other day but it has provided me with the oppurtunity to think about food (specificly sandwhiches) for the past 2 minutes and I love the food.

Right, thats it, work time (d'oh, doesn't always have the desired effects)

Hooza!!!

At last, a comment. A little bit of a cheat I suppose because I fished for it by posting on a friends blog and then got a comment from someone I already know who linked after reading my comment on the other blog. Exactly.

Anyway, a big thank you to Emma for being the first to comment on my blog. And please, if you're reading this feel free to follow suite and comment away.

Stadiwm Y Mileniwm

Weeeee hello there,

Just got back from my first rugby match in the millenium stadium, wales vs. a specific island (although i dont know which one :s ). It was a decent enough match, although two of my favourites didnt really perform (Philips and Parker). The biggest cheer of the game however didnt come when we scored one of our six or seven tries, oh no. It came when it was announced over the stadium PA that Argentina had just beaten England at Twickenham (where England play). Brilliant, Engalnd are now almost as bad as I remember Wales being when I grew up. Isn't it funny how we hate england rugby more than we love Welsh rugby almost (in my case that really is the fact)

Anyway, good flippin' times

Back again for another day

Hello again Mr.Davies, I take it that I shall be the only one reading this. Is this like talking to yourself (which you don't do) but for the tinternet age.

Speaking of tiniternet, why don't you actually put pen to paper on the kind of mock technology language you've been working on. You know the one, speaking as if you were 40+ and kinda half got all the things going on. Okay, 1, 2, 3, LETS GO!

Internet = Tintraweb
Surfing the interntet = White water Googleing
Email = Emu's
Checking your email = Surfing my Emu's
DVD player = VD casette player (So like, "Hey, I got a new VD last night, want to come round and see?")
Mobile phone = Cordless Walkabout
Texting (text messaging) = Teletexting (Internet for old men on their television)
MP3 Player = My Pod 3 player
Computer = Commuter
TFT Monitor = Fat screen TV
Flat screen = Skinny Screen

That's all i can remember for now but as more come into usage I shall add them.

Good times

By the way, this is what I look like:

Second day of blogging

So, today is day two of my blog. As of yet I've had no comments posted on my blog. Not unpredictably so. How on earth would someone find my blog and then, and this is teh real question, why on earth would they comment on it? (Especially seeing what my only post thus far was about). Perhaps if I put a little of my day in here someone might be searching for people having a similar experience.

Well, I hit snooze 5 times this morning, that totals 45min (why not just set the alarm for latter). Got into work for around about 9 to what is a pretty empty office. My 'boss' is away so I'm pretty much alone, hence the blogging. I seem to be powering through the work but nothing is jumping out at me. Just one or two mundane things left and the on going christmas brouchre that I'm doing.

Anyway, good times, I'm just writing to myself because no one reads this. Thats pretty sad isn't it sammy. Yes sammy it is.

So I just got a blog...

So I got this blog because I saw someone elses and really liked the layout/color arrangement. So I tried to find their blog but couldn't. Then brain wave struck, I'd get my own blog and hunt for the layout/colours I liked. So now I'm lumbered with this thing and I'm not quite sure what to do with it...Interesting.
